Tragedy at University of Wyoming: 3 Students Killed in Crash

Three students from the University of Wyoming’s swimming and diving team lost their lives in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 287 near the Wyoming–Colorado border. Two additional team members were in the vehicle and survived with injuries. The crash happened when their SUV veered off the road and rolled multiple times.

The victims were identified as Charlie Clark, 19, a sophomore studying psychology; Carson Muir, 18, a freshman in animal and veterinary sciences; and Luke Slabber, 21, a junior studying construction management. All were active on the university’s swim teams.
