Joke of the day

While waiting at a bus stop, a curious 3-year-old boy sat beside a visibly pregnant woman. His eyes grew wide as he looked at her belly, and in the way only a toddler could, he blurted out:

“Why do you look so fat?”

Caught slightly off guard but smiling, the woman gently replied,
“Well, I have a baby inside me.”

The boy’s face lit up with surprise. He leaned in, clearly fascinated, and asked,
“Is it a good baby?”

The woman chuckled and said,
“Yes, it’s a very good baby.”

The boy paused for a moment, thinking seriously about her answer. Then, with complete innocence and logic only a child could muster, he asked,
“Then why did you eat it?”
